The Home School organizes weeklong conferences for poets and artists. In August, we take residence in Hudson, New York at Time & Space Limited. In January, we gather in locations across the country.
Home School participants spend six days immersed in an intensive program that foregrounds interdisciplinary experimentation and collaboration.
Our programming includes daily poetry workshops questioning received poetics and evening performances celebrating eclectic voices.
The Home School is a community of creative recklessness. We bring together the most diverse poets and artists of our time to explore poetry’s fundamental importance to dance, film, music, painting, theater and other arts.
We celebrate writers and artists who break the rules, ignore traditional artistic boundaries and question the very nature of their practice.
